New to Kakobuy? This guide walks you through the whole process — finding a product, placing an order, reviewing quality-control photos and shipping it to your country. Kakobuy is a shopping agent: it doesn't sell anything itself, it buys items for you from Chinese marketplaces like Weidian, Taobao and 1688, stores them, lets you inspect them, and forwards everything to you in one parcel. Once you've done it once, it's simple.
The fastest way to start is straight from the Kakobuy Spreadsheet — every find is already organised by category with a working link, so you skip the hunt through Reddit, Discord and Yupoo.
1. Find a product
Kakobuy has no catalogue of its own, so you begin with a link. On this site every item already has a working Kakobuy link attached — open a category, pick something, and you're ready. If you have a product from elsewhere, paste any Weidian, Taobao or 1688 link into the Kakobuy search bar and it builds the page automatically. Only have a photo? Kakobuy's reverse image search finds matches.
2. Open the item on Kakobuy
Click through from a listing here (or paste your link). Kakobuy creates the product page with the available options — colour, size, version. If you don't have an account yet, create a free one; you'll need it to order and to see the full QC gallery later.
3. Choose size, colour and version
Read the product options carefully. Sizing is standard and generally true to size — order your usual size, and only adjust if the listing's size chart says otherwise. If you're unsure, leave a note for the agent with your measurements. Many items also come in different batches or versions that vary in quality; community comparisons and Yupoo seller albums show the differences so you can pick the better one.
4. Place the order and pay
Add the item to your cart and check out. Enter your details, agree to the terms and pay. If PayPal isn't available for your order, top up your Kakobuy balance and pay from stored funds. 5. Track the order stages
Your order moves through clear statuses: Process Pending (waiting for an agent) → Purchased (agent bought it) → Seller Sent (seller shipped to the warehouse) → Warehouse Received (checked in). Once it reaches the warehouse, your QC photos become available.
6. Review the QC photos
Warehouse staff photograph the exact item you'll receive. Inspect stitching, logos, materials, colour and overall condition. This is your last checkpoint before international shipping, so take your time — for shoes look at the sole and toe-box, for garments check prints and seams, for bags check the hardware. If something's wrong, you can raise it before approving.
7. Choose shipping and finalise
Happy with the QC? Approve the item and pick a shipping line. Kakobuy shows several, so you can balance speed against cost. Use the shipping estimator (top navigation) to see weight and dimensions — removing bulky packaging like shoeboxes can noticeably cut the bill. Confirm, and your parcel is packed and sent with a tracking number.
8. Receive your parcel
Follow the tracking until it arrives. Delivery time depends on the line you chose. That's it — you've completed a Kakobuy order.
